Building upon this success, subsequent efforts were directed towards the creation and launch of the fully digital bank in Uzbekistan, TBC UZ, in 2020. We are seeking a hands-on and technically proficient Tech Lead for our Credit Anti-Fraud Platform. This role is crucial for the daily execution, design, and development of our systems and tools dedicated to preventing credit fraud. You will lead a dedicated engineering team, guiding them in building robust solutions for application fraud. A significant part of this role involves leading the technical integration of various third-party vendor solutions alongside development of proprietary, in-house tools. The ideal candidate is a strong technical mentor, with experience in fraud technologies or identity solutions (both custom-built and vendor-provided), and passionate about building secure and reliable systems.
Primary Focus:
- Lead the day-to-day technical design, development, and implementation of features and services for the credit anti-fraud platform. This includes architecting and overseeing the seamless integration of third-party vendor solutions with our existing infrastructure and in-house systems.
- Make critical technical decisions regarding the architecture and implementation of both in-house built tools and the integration strategies for vendor solutions for credit fraud and identity verification.
- Actively participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile development processes for the credit fraud engineering team, with a specific focus on robust integration points.
- Contribute to the technical roadmap for credit fraud prevention, advising on the technical feasibility and best practices for both in-house development and vendor integrations, in alignment with the overall platform strategy set by the Head of Anti-Fraud Platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in software engineering, with a focus on building and maintaining systems for credit fraud prevention, identity verification, or credit risk assessment. This must include demonstrable experience in technically leading the integration of third-party vendor solutions.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring software engineering teams in an agile environment.
