TBC Bank Group PLC established Space International with the strategic aim of facilitating the group's global expansion efforts. In 2018, the team successfully introduced the pioneering neobank, Space, in Georgia. Building upon this success, subsequent efforts were directed towards the creation and launch of the fully digital bank in Uzbekistan, TBC UZ, in 2020. In a significant move towards enhancing its foothold in the Uzbek market, the group acquired Payme, a prominent local payments provider and esteemed brand among the Uzbek populace, in 2023.
Presently, a dedicated team of 1,700 professionals representing 17 nationalities collaborates to advance TBC's international presence. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analysis Specialist to join our team.
Primary focus:
- Analyzing Unit Economics: Evaluating the financial performance of individual units within the business, including calculating key metrics such as unit costs, revenues, and profitability
- Forecasting and Projections: Utilizing historical data and market trends to forecast future unit economics, providing insights to support strategic decision-making
- Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights and presenting findings to stakeholders through clear and concise reporting
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for improving unit economics through cost optimization, revenue enhancement, or process efficiencies, and implementing appropriate strategies
- Benchmarking and Competitive Analysis: Benchmarking the organization's financial performance against industry peers and competitors. Identifying areas where the company can improve its competitive position
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conducting ad hoc financial analysis and providing insights to support special projects, initiatives, or inquiries from senior management
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant working experience. Experience in the financial sector is a plus
- A deep understanding of financial principles, including financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, knowledge of data visualization tools and programming languages like SQL or Python is beneficial
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and statistical techniques
- Teamwork and Collaboration: The ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Languages: Excellent knowledge of Georgian/English
