About the Role:
We are searching for a talented and experienced Data Platform Lead to oversee and lead all data stack initiatives within our organization. You will be responsible for the strategic direction, design, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our data platform. This critical role will ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of our data infrastructure, empowering data-driven decision-making across the company.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive data platform strategy, aligned with overall business goals.
- Oversee all aspects of the data stack, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, governance, and access.
- Build and lead a high-performing data platform team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Select, implement, and manage data platform technologies, including data lakes, warehouses (e.g., Greenplum), utilize Debezium for real-time data capture, data integration tools (e.g., Kafka), and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading and managing data platform initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of data platform technologies (e.g., data lakes, warehouses, databases, data integration tools).
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
