TBC Bank Group PLC established Space International with the strategic aim of facilitating the group's global expansion efforts. In 2018, the team successfully introduced the pioneering neobank, Space, in Georgia. Building upon this success, subsequent efforts were directed towards the creation and launch of the fully digital bank in Uzbekistan, TBC UZ, in 2020. In a significant move towards enhancing its foothold in the Uzbek market, the group acquired Payme, a prominent local payments provider and esteemed brand among the Uzbek populace, in 2023.
Presently, a dedicated team of 1,700 professionals representing 17 nationalities collaborates to advance TBC's international presence. Space International spearheads the provision of cutting-edge technologies and top-tier professional services, while the local teams at Payme and TBC Uzbekistan drive sustained growth and operational excellence.
We are looking for talented individuals with DevOps Engineer experience to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Design, manage, and patch RedHat and Debian based Linux environments, ensuring robustness and stability.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, leveraging Kubernetes for orchestration.
- Implement and maintain microservices architecture; manage advanced load balancing solutions to ensure optimal distribution of traffic and resources.
- Configure and manage virtual environments using VMware and ESXi.
- Develop and support Single Sign-On solutions to streamline authentication processes across platforms.
- Utilize tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Cisco AppDynamics for comprehensive IT service monitoring. Implement automation using scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, Python, or Ruby.
- Manage and troubleshoot basic network infrastructures including subnetting, VLANs, and routing.
- Utilize advanced Git techniques to maintain and track configurations and codebases.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a DevOps role.
- Profound knowledge of IT infrastructure and extensive experience managing Linux environments.
- Strong familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, ESXi) and identity management systems.
- Proficiency in using IT service monitoring software and implementing microservices architectures.
- Skill in scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby) and a solid understanding of network fundamentals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage load balancers and a thorough understanding of version control using Git.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible is a plus.
- Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of security configuration and analysis is a plus.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certificate is a plus.
