TBC Bank Group PLC established Space International with the strategic aim of facilitating the group's global expansion efforts. In 2018, the team successfully introduced the pioneering neobank, Space, in Georgia. Building upon this success, subsequent efforts were directed towards the creation and launch of the fully digital bank in Uzbekistan, TBC UZ, in 2020. In a significant move towards enhancing its foothold in the Uzbek market, the group acquired Payme, a prominent local payments provider and esteemed brand among the Uzbek populace, in 2023.
Presently, a dedicated team of 1,700 professionals representing 17 nationalities collaborates to advance TBC's international presence. We are looking for talented individuals with IT Infrastructure Engineer experience to join our team
Primary Focus:
Infrastructure Management:
- Design, deploy, and manage virtualized environments using VMware vSphere and ESXi
- Monitor and optimize performance for virtual machines and physical hosts
Storage Solutions:
- Implement and manage VSAN, SAN, and NAS storage solutions
- Monitor storage performance and plan for capacity expansions
- Ensure data integrity and backup consistency through best practices
Linux Systems Administration:
- Manage Linux-based servers, ensuring uptime, patching, and security hardening
- Troubleshoot and resolve Linux OS and application issues promptly
Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Establish proactive monitoring to prevent outages and bottlenecks
- Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document resolutions
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, with a focus on virtualization and storage solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vSAN)
- Strong knowledge of storage solutions (SAN, NAS, and VSAN)
- Expertise in Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar)
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery best practices
- Basic networking knowledge related to storage and virtualization environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as VMware VCP, Linux+, or equivalent
- Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible)
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and hybrid infrastructure
