We are looking for talented individuals with Monitoring Center Lead experience to join our team

The Monitoring Center Supervisor oversees the real-time monitoring of the bank's IT infrastructure, applications, and services to ensure uninterrupted operations. This role acts as the first escalation point during incidents, coordinates the monitoring team’s activities, and ensures adherence to standard operating procedures.

Primary Focus:

1. Monitoring and Incident Initiation:

Supervise the team responsible for monitoring the bank’s IT systems, applications, and networks.
Act as the first point of escalation for critical incidents during the shift.
Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting and documentation in the monitoring tools.

2. Shift Operations:

Oversee day-to-day shift activities, ensuring team adherence to protocols and workflows.
Conduct shift handovers, ensuring clear communication and proper documentation of ongoing incidents or tasks.
Manage resource allocation within the shift, balancing workloads among team members.

3. Team Leadership:

Train, mentor, and provide guidance to monitoring analysts and operators.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Identify skill gaps and recommend training opportunities to enhance team expertise.

Qualifications:

IT Operations Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations, monitoring, or a related role.
- Familiarity with operating in high-availability environments, preferably in industries like banking, telecommunications, or healthcare.
Leadership Experience:
- 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proven experience managing teams, particularly in a 24/7 operational setup.
Monitoring Tools Knowledge:
- Understanding of key metrics and their impact on systems
- Proficiency with industry-standard monitoring tools (e.g., Kibana, Grafana, AppDynamics, Zabbix).
- Experience with alerting systems and observability platforms.

Technical Skills:

Ability to create custom dashboards in monitoring tools like Elastic, AppDynamics or any related monitoring platform
Understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and application layers.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
