TBC Bank Group PLC established Space International with the strategic aim of facilitating the group's global expansion efforts. In 2018, the team successfully introduced the pioneering neobank, Space, in Georgia. Building upon this success, subsequent efforts were directed towards the creation and launch of the fully digital bank in Uzbekistan, TBC UZ, in 2020. In a significant move towards enhancing its foothold in the Uzbek market, the group acquired Payme, a prominent local payments provider and esteemed brand among the Uzbek populace, in 2023.

Presently, a dedicated team of 1,700 professionals representing 17 nationalities collaborates to advance TBC's international presence. We are looking for talented individuals with Network Engineer experience to join our team

Primary Focus:

The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance connectivity across all systems and services. This includes configuring and monitoring network devices, managing on-premises and cloud-based networks, and supporting business-critical applications by ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy LAN, WAN, and cloud network infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN appliances.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
  • Implement and manage network security best practices, including segmentation, ACLs, and encryption.
  • Collaborate with security, platform, and DevOps teams to support scalable infrastructure.
  • Maintain documentation for network topologies, configurations, and policies.
  • Stay current with evolving networking technologies and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide on-call support for network-related incidents and changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in a network engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or similar networking hardware.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls and VPN technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, pfSense).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP VPCs, transit gateways, hybrid connectivity).
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
