Role Overview: Delivery Manager
As a Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our team and overseeing the successful delivery of key projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery process for business lines, other directions, and platforms.
- Participate in quarterly planning and release-level estimations, with a strong understanding of how the team estimates.
- Collect product initiatives within determined timelines from respective business lines and directions.
- Translate release-level estimations into realistic timelines, determining the number of sprints needed for particular objectives.
- Create and maintain product development/delivery roadmaps, progress dashboards, and other relevant documentation.
- Serve as the first point of contact for delivery-related issues.
- Track and manage the timelines of the delivery process.
- Ensure the RAIDs document is up-to-date and risks are mitigated.
- Manage cross-team dependencies and ensure resolution.
- Ensure delivery of objectives within determined timelines.
- Provide status updates to stakeholders and business lines.
- Support teams throughout the delivery process and assist in problem-solving.
- Assist in resource allocation for teams.
- Escalate risks and issues when necessary.
- Manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Take full responsibility for all issues related to delivery that may pose a risk.
Main Requirements:
- More than 5 years of experience in project delivery, project management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects.
- PMP and PMI-ACP certifications are a plus.
- High emotional intelligence for managing team dynamics and conflicts diplomatically.
- Strong understanding and proficiency in Agile practices, processes, and frameworks (especially Scrum and XP).
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Miro, and other project management tools.
- Experience in managing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong leadership abilities and initiative-taking skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A high sense of ownership and accountability.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
