TBC Bank Group PLC established Space International with the strategic aim of facilitating the group's global expansion efforts. In 2018, the team successfully introduced the pioneering neobank, Space, in Georgia. Building upon this success, subsequent efforts were directed towards the creation and launch of the fully digital bank in Uzbekistan, TBC UZ, in 2020. In a significant move towards enhancing its foothold in the Uzbek market, the group acquired Payme, a prominent local payments provider and esteemed brand among the Uzbek populace, in 2023.
Presently, a dedicated team of 1,700 professionals representing 17 nationalities collaborates to advance TBC's international presence. Are you a highly skilled database administrator with a mastery of multiple database systems?
• Proven experience maintaining mission-critical databases in a production environment, including:
o PostgreSQL
o SQL Server
o MongoDB
o MySQL
• 5+ years of experience with database administration best practices, including schema design, query optimization, performance tuning, and security across various platforms.
• Experience with database backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability for all supported platforms.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts (SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL concepts (MongoDB).
• Experience with database monitoring tools and automation scripting for multiple platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in Georgian, English, and/or Russian.
